Past couple of weeks....

Have been absolutely crazy...First, my best friend was deported back to Mexico.  Sad stuff., I love him to death. I'm waiting to hear from him =(

I've been stressing about everything lately. My BFF, money, school, and possibly buying a Jeep has put me on edge.  Knitting has helped, but I'm starting to get bored. I need to learn how to do other stitches, but for some reason I'm scared. I need to finish my sisters scarf. That should be done this weekend.

On the upside...a cute Latino man has propositioned me...via a mutual friend. So high school, haha. Unfortunately he's married. Oh well, I'm still flattered.

Another Boring Day...

I'm supposed to have my sociology class today, but once again, the professor cancelled. I swear I've been out of her class more than I've been in. Oh well, that just means that I wont be getting out of my lounge-wear, so it works for me.  And I'll be here when Fed-ex comes with my books.  I finally bought "Total Money Makeover" and something like "Stitch n Bitch". The latter is a knitting book.

I have a friend who was a year or 2 younger than me who her and her husband bought "Total Money Makeover". She swore up and down that it changed there lives; about how they've paid off their student loans, credit card debt, has like 5k in the bank.  Being a borderline shopaholic myself, I NEED this book. It's time for me to grow up and be responsible for my finances.

One other thing that has been going on with me lately is the re-entrance of my ex-boyfriend. A long story short (for now) is that we were together for 2.5 years, my first love, he runs off for a 7 month school in Cali, meets someone after a month, and then marries her after 2. And doesnt tell me.

Anyways, he had tried to get in touch with me about 8 months after I found out, and I blew him off. A little over a year and a half goes by, and I contacted him last week...we've emailed each other back and forth, and I guess we're trying to be friends again---because he was my best friend while we were together in Maine. We'll see how this goes. Although, he requested to be FB friends, and I accepted. On his page, he does not have any pictures of his wife or kid...and none of his family members on FB are friends with him...interesting....

So, the first post, huh?

Here goes nothing...

My name is Rebecca (obviously). I'm 23, living in North Carolina with my parents---moving out in January---my younger brother and sister.  Oh, and my 2 hellion cats, Nero and Mishap.  I was in the Coast Guard for 5 years, got out in Jan 2010, and I am seriously regretting that choice. Unfortunately for me, with the economy in the toilet, it is extremley hard to get back in, so I'm going to join the reserves, and hopefully once I get my Associates Degree, my ass will be back in Active Duty.

Anyways, I will be writing about a lot of things.  This blog will honestly be my journal. I'm planning on writing about things that happen to me, my love for Boston, and the Boston Bruins, my new hobby (knitting), etc...Oh, and of course I'll be posting pictures (once I find my camera, and figure out how to post them).

I hope whatever readers out there enjoy...if not, at least I wont be bottling up stuff anymore =D
